A really interesting series of lectures at Clare Hall in Cambridge, followed by a drinks reception and dinner in College. Titled ‘Providing for the nation’s health, in a global context’, the focus was on the Covid response. Thoughts on how we respond better to the next pandemic were thought provoking, as well as slightly worrying (surely we won’t live through another one?!).
