Photo Tips | Try a different angle.
With the summer holidays fast approaching for many of you, I thought a holiday tip would be useful. Here’s a couple of ways you could create some interesting images, rather than coming back with lots of “snaps”.
Think about different angles and have a clear focal point. Take this first photo, taken standing up at my eye level. It’s pretty flat and boring.
Here I have moved the horizon down to improve the composition and get more of the mountains and sky in.
Or, to focus on the paddy, I have gone for a vertical shot and knealt right down to get as much of it in as possible.
Get up, down, climb on things (carefully!), do whatever… just don’t point and shoot from eye level, it’s usually the most boring angle.
