Here’s a few of my favourites from Gemma & Ian’s fantastic wedding last weekend. They got married at the wonderful Cain Manor in Surrey, an excellent wedding venue with loads of cool places inside and out for photos. I think we all expected the worst in the weather, but were very lucky and managed to get outside for a while. As you’ll see below, the showery weather combined with a peep from the sun meant some gorgeous light (and me getting very excited about the photos after a quick look at the back of the camera!). Gemma, Ian, the bridal party and their partners were very obliging and went along with my slightly crazy idea of making them walk through a field, so thank you all (hopefully you all agree it was worth it!).
I was just taking my last few photos of Gemma on the stairs inside before the wedding breakfast when I asked her to look outside the window… good job I did, otherwise we would have missed the beautiful rainbow. Must have been the lucky penny that Gemma had been wearing in her shoe all day.
It’s always hard to choose which photos to blog, but this one was especially so, I loved them all. Thanks, Ian & Gemma for making it such a hard decision, such a fun couple and wedding!
