We couldn’t have had a more gorgeous day for Emma & David’s wedding at Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. I knew Emma from when we worked in the same offices together in my pre-photography days, and hadn’t been in touch since, so was really pleased when she messaged to say that she was getting married and wanted me to photograph it. I was even more pleased when we had a visit to the venue before the wedding, it’s stunning! As you may expect from the name, Abbey House Gardens have beautiful grounds, beautifully kept by Ian & Barbara Pollard. Barbara looked after the wedding on the day too, and was amazingly helpful and friendly (thanks Barbara!).
Emma & David had put lots of thought into all the details which were great to capture, and the whole theme carried through from the gardens, perfect!
It was so hard to choose which ones to blog, so I’d recommend watching the wedding highlights slideshow which has lots more in. The slideshow is best viewed with music and in full screen (click the square in the bottom right of the video to make it full screen, press escape when you have finished).

Yep, that’s a Pot Noodle! First time for everything at a wedding (being eaten by Emma’s siter Holly, not the Bride herself).
LOVE this one. All the lines in the composition and the calmness of it (and of course Emma looking beautiful!).
So cute, Emma & David’s lovely daughter.
Another favourite. Last minute preparations at The Old Bell before heading over to the ceremony.
So pretty!
A lovely walk behind The Abbey on the way to Abbey House.
Yum, cream tea!
Love all of these, so hard to choose which ones to include of Emma & David :).
The best men accompany David in a sea shanty written for Emma. Went down a storm, well done guys.
Thanks so much for having me along to share such a brilliant day, and all the best with the move over to the other side of the world as Mr & Mrs 🙂
