Here’s one of my favourite photos from last night’s brilliant fashion show at The Savoy Hotel in London by J Model Management. This was taken during the live catwalk show, I love the moment. I know it’s not a ‘typical’ fashion runway shot but I think that’s why I like it so much.

Corporate Headshot Photography | Avaya

I get lots of corporate clients coming to me for executive portraits. This could be for the ‘meet the team’ pages on their website, annual reports or for press use. Here are a few of my favourites from a recent shoot.

I like to provide my corporate clients with a couple of different expressions for the variety of uses they may have. Not all company news is necessarily good, so a happy, smiley portrait may not always be appropriate. In these first two images I took one more formal portrait (tie, jacket done up, neutral expression) and one more relaxed (no tie, top button undone and jacket more open).

Wedding Photographer London | Antonia and Luke’s Engagement Photos

It was a beautiful day in north London for Antonia and Luke’s engagement portrait session. The sun shone and the wisteria and bluebells were out in the gorgeous gardens of the National Trust’s Fenton House in Hampstead.

It was such a fun day out and I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding in August

It was the day before the Royal Wedding, so I wanted to get this Union Jack in that someone had conveniently placed outside their house.

Peak District Portrait Photography Fun!

I spend a lot of time on my own in the office, so it’s always fun to get together with a load of photography mates and go out and shoot. Not just any group though, these guys and girls are all seriously amazing photographers, and it’s brilliant to share tips and ideas with each other. Here are a few of my favourites from last week’s get together in the Peak District.

Tobiah & Laura | Portrait Session

Back in the Autumn I met up with a gang of awesome photography mates in Staffordshire to chat, eat, drink and shoot. We stayed at the fantastic Roaches Hall, which has endless grounds and backdrops for photos. Combine that with the most stunning light and gorgeous couple and you can see the results below… Tobiah and Laura were recently engaged so a few of us had some fun and took them on a portrait session. I was a little apprehensive taking photos of a fellow photographer (especially knowing how good they are!), but shouldn’t have worried. They were both so relaxed in front of the camera and happy to let us do our own thing.

Chesterfield sofa outside = lots of fun! Not sure what’s going on in this one, but I like it anyway.

Bridal Portraits at Pennyhill Park

I had so much fun shooting these pre-wedding bridal portraits of Jennifer at Pennyhill Park Hotel. It was a lovely autumnal day and the location (and model of course!) couldn’t have been better. Really looking forward to their wedding in December.

Engagement Portrait Photos | Canary Wharf, London

Jon’s Mum bought him and his fiancée Libby a portrait session gift voucher for their engagement. They live near Canary Wharf, so I thought this would be a fantastic place for a photoshoot. I wasn’t wrong! There were so many brilliant photo opportunities and backgrounds to work with (and of course a lovely couple!). Walking around Canary Wharf on a Sunday afternoon was a slightly surreal experience as I had only been during the week before, with the 10,000 or so commuters going about their business. It almost felt like a film set. The masses of steel and glass caught my eye, and I could have kept taking photos there for hours!

It’s always nice to stay in touch with my clients and see how their families grow. I first met Kamma after photographing her son at nursery. Four years and two more children later, here’s the latest addition, gorgeous!

Giselle Ballet Press Photocall

Just back from a press photocall for Lauretta Summerscales, who is in Giselle, coming to The New Victoria Theatre in Woking next week. We got some lovely portraits in her dressing room (cool lights and mirrors!) and then a few outside.

Jack & Chloe Portraits, Newlands Corner

I had great fun with Jack & Chloe on their pre wedding photography session at Newlands Corner in Guildford last week. The countryside was beautiful, as was the couple (of course!), especially Chloe in her pretty red dress and shoes :.). When I said ‘what do you think about running down that hill?’ on one of the hottest days this summer, I was expecting a flat out “NO!”. As you’ll see below, they were up for my suggestion and we had a good laugh! Looking forward to their wedding at the Manor House Hotel later in the year.
