Wow! What a fantastic wedding. Zoë and Jon got married at All Saints Church in Putney, followed by a reception at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park. Zoë and her bridesmaids were so much fun, starting in the morning with champagne and getting ready at her sister’s house in Putney. I don’t think I have seen a bride so relaxed!
After a beautiful ceremony we took a slight detour before getting to Pembroke Lodge. When Zoë first told me that she wanted to stop at a tree in Richmond Park, my initial thought was “why?”. Well… this wasn’t any old tree, this is where one morning after a run through the park, Jon got down on one knee (pretending to tie his shoelace) and popped the question. Careful to hide the ring in his running shorts, Zoë had no idea and of course said “yes”.
Pembroke Lodge is such a brilliant place for wedding photos, with huge grounds and beautiful views. Of course this is nothing without willing subjects to photograph. Thanks to you all for being so relaxed, fun, and allowing me to capture such an excellent day.
